Lady Pirates Can't Beat 3rd Ranked Lake Land College

10th ranked Lady Pirates basketball took a defeat in the NJCAA Central A District Championship game Saturday to host and 3rd ranked Lake Land College 80-50 on Saturday.  NCMC finishes the year with a 17-5 record and another Region 16 crown.  The team was also nationally ranked for the entirety of the 2020-21 season, a first in school history. 

 

Kennadie Crowe led the Lady Pirates with 14 points against Lake Land plus pulled down 7 rebounds.

 

NCMC reached the District Championship game by defeating 14th ranked Lincoln Land Community College 74-68.  Angel Wiggins led the scoring in that win with 17 points off the bench.  Crowe and Maci Moore each added 14 points in the balanced attack.
