After missing last Saturday's game against SWIC, Sayveon McEwen had a successful return with 21 points in the Saints' 88-82 win at Lake Land, ending the Lakers' five-game winning streak.
Shomari Tillet put up 19 points for Shawnee (9-5, 4-3) with a game-high 11 rebounds while Adam Saeed scored 15, Ronnie Howard 12 and Fermin Jeff 11 points.
Laker guard Josh Jefferson got his season average with 22 points. Kevin Williams scored 14, Josh Robinson 14 with ten rebounds, Dazon Farris 12 and Amel Kuljuhovic netted ten points for Lake Land (11-3, 5-1).
Shawnee led 43-40 at halftime.
