Myrtle Beach, SC - The Skippers played their final game in South Carolina on Friday, March 8th against Kaskaskia College.

Kaskaskia College opened up the scoring by putting up 4 runs before the Skippers could rally the offense. The Skippers scored their sole run in the 6th before ultimately falling to Kaskaskia 9-1 in 6 innings. Three of the Skippers hit doubles during the game: Alexis Perrin, Sarah Fantin, and Carley Kalbfleisch. Fantin was the sole Skipper with an RBI knocking in Perrin to score the only Skippers run.

The starter for the Skippers was Kaylie Rickert. She pitched 4 innings allowing 7 hits but only 2 runs. Brandi Bassett came in for Rickert in the 5th inning closing out the game with 6 hits and 7 runs.

This was the Skipper's last game in South Carolina. They will travel to Terra State Community College for a doubleheader on Saturday, March 9th.
