Vols Set for Region XXIV Tournament

Carterville, IL - The Logan Volunteers baseball team finished the regular season 41-11 overall and 24-6 in Region play to earn a host bid for the Region XXIV Tournament. The tournament is a four team double-elimination bracket starting on Friday and concluding on Sunday. Logan comes in as the top seed and will take on Southwestern Illinois starting at noon on Friday. Lincoln Trail and Rend Lake will play at Logan starting at 3 p.m. to finish off day one of competition. The winner will advance to Northern District Championship, starting on May 17, for a shot to go to the NJCAA World Series in Grand Junction, CO. You can find the entire bracket here
