#2 Eagles Finish Road Trip 2-0

Sedalia, MO- Kirkwood completed their trip to the Show Me State with a convincing 98-43 victory over Rend Lake on Saturday afternoon in Sedalia, MO.
 
Just as they did in their season opener the day before, the Eagles jumped on top of their opponent early. Kirkwood led 34-13 after a quarter of play.
 
The Eagles (2-0) would hold a comfortable 54-21 lead at halftime.
 
Kirkwood shared the ball really well, as they finished with 27 assists on 40 made field goals.
 
The Eagles also shot the ball extremely well from three-point range, as they finished 10-20 (50.0%).
 
Sophomore Demetria Prewitt led five Kirkwood players in double figures with 16 points.
 
Sophomore Emily Dreckman added 15 points, including 3-5 from beyond the three-point line.
 
Freshman Lizzy Puot & sophomore Kaylee Corbin both finished with 14 points.
 
Sophomore Zhakyla Evans had a solid all-around game, as she finished with 10 points, six rebounds & a career-high eight assists.
 
The Eagles return to action next Friday, traveling to Peoria, IL to take on Danville Area in the Cougar Classic.
