    The Southwestern Illinois basketball team led by Kenny Leaverette's 20 points and Chris Hines 16 points, defeated John A. Logan College on Sunday evening 77-64 to advance to the NCJAA DI National basketball tournament in Hutchinson, KS. This is the second trip to the Nationals in the past four years for the Blue Storm.
