JAMESTOWN, N.Y. - Feb. 9 - The Erie Community College men's basketball, NJCAA Division II's ninth-ranked team, recorded its 19th win this season with an 88-71 win over Jamestown CC Saturday afternoon in Western New York Athletic Conference play.

The Kats, now 19-4 overall and 10-1 in league play, were led by sophomore guard Devon Elliott (Brooklyn, N.Y./Bishop Loughlin) as he scored 30 points and 10 rebounds. Freshman guard Keron Briggs (Buffalo, N.Y./Sweet Home) also had a double-double with 13 points and 10 assists. Freshman center Tobechuckwu Okafor (Ikesa, Nigeria/Maine Central Institute) added 16 points and nine rebounds and sophomore guard Isaiah Jefferson (Buffalo, N.Y./Riverside) contributed 12 points and nine rebounds.

ECC will play 14th-ranked Monroe CC Feb. 16 in Rochester, N.Y. The teams are tied for the top spot in the WNYAC standings.
