CARTERVILLE - The Wabash Valley College Lady Warriors basketball team overcame a 26-23 halftime deficit to take a 62-58 win from the John A. Logan Lady Vols Wednesday night.

WVC was led by Tasia Smith with 16 points while Kristen Washington and Chloe Obasogie each added 13. Montrell Mills chipped in 11.

The Lady Warriors hit 23 of 63 two-pointers for 36.5 percent, but failed to connect on six three-point attempts. They were 16 of 29 at the line for 55.2 percent.

Sade Nelson and DaLita Scott each had 15 for Logan.

The Lady Vols hit 21 of 64 two-pointers for 32.8 percent, and three of 13 three-pointers for 23 percent. They were seven of 11 at the line for 63.6 percent.
